Currently the following Terms of Reference are available:
1. GENDER RESPONSIVE BUDGETS ASSIGNMENT:
The United Nations Development Fund for Women (UNIFEM) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is seeking to recruit the services of an international consultant who can speak both English and French to undertake a Gender Responsive Budgets assignment in selected five or six countries in Africa that include:

2. COUNTRY STRATEGIES DEVELOPMENT
We are seeking the services of national consultants with expertise on gender and development for the following countries:
Botswana, Comoros, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Seychelles, South Africa, Swaziland and Zimbabwe. Deadline is 10 June 2010

1. MEDIA INSTITUTIONS ADVOCACY STRATEGY – CALL FOR PROPOSALS
UNIFEM aims through an organization to develop a twofold advocacy strategy:
Advocate with two media houses in South Africa and Swaziland to institute gender sensitive reporting rewards and incentives; and advocate with two media houses in South Africa and Swaziland for gender sensitive reporting and appropriate budgeting. Both strategies seek to identify incentives that encourage the implementation of Gender Equality and Women’s Human Rights across media institutions. Download terms of reference and guidelines.

2. GENDER SUPPORT PROGRAMME – 2010 CALL FOR PROPOSALS
UNIFEM is pleased to announce the 2010 call for proposals for the Gender Support Programme (GSP), a multi-donor initiative dedicated to the advancement of gender equality, equity and women’s empowerment in Zimbabwe at local and national levels. GSP is currently funded by the European Commission (EC) and The British Department for International Development (DFID) and the Royal Danish Embassy.
